Gilthas
found this when searching through my documents for my pw stuff. wrote it for fun in sec 2. my standard of english is really bad back then. and it still is now. Lol never did finish it. maybe i might ? maybe maybe. But after schoolwork.
Dawn was approaching. The sun slowly made its way up. In a small house by the sea, Gilthas lived with his grandfather, the oldest and wisest man in the coastal village of Tharp. Gilthas' father had gone to war and had not returned since three years.
“Yes grandpa, I will remember all you told me. Not to tell people that I know magic. Yes, I will always remember and rest assured, I would go as a mercenary," promised Gilthas as he left the house. "Wait, take this along, it will help you, battle magic would help, but I am sure your mother's ancestry of wild magic would enable you to sufficiently harness the potential of these ancient crafts, take this along as well and wear it," he told Gilthas as he handed him a white dagger with several runes engraved, a unicorn horn, a whip made of unicorn hair, a blade and finally an acorn amulet.
He wanted to be a battle warrior. Born from a father with warrior genes, Gilthas proved to be strong and physically-inclined and with a mother from the wild folks of Tree Lars, he was born with the abilities of seeing things better and easier in the dark Gilthas taking these items thanked his grandpa and continued walking. He had to look for his father in the city of Nova where his father had enlisted, good and accurate with a whip and a bow and with the great potential of learning the arts of magic. From young , his father had inculcate in him battle skills and some simple battle magic like casting fire to create campfires and from his mother , he had learnt how to cast sleep spells and how to create illusions . However, the idea of practicing the art of magic was never well-received by the normal people for many had feared and disliked magic after The Second Great War where the evil dark elf lord almost cast a spell that could have devastated many cities of human had the great paladin of Zoar not dispelled it in time . Though weaken, the paladin was able to contain the dark lord in one of the deepest dungeon in a magic-bound cell where the energy from the spell bounding the evil elf was energized from the dark elf’s growing magic energy. Which meant that it constantly kept the dark evil there as the magic required for the dark elf was constantly drained to fuel the guardian spell of the captive.
